Winter Spice Chai Tea Item 22 • $7.00 A single honey bee makes 1/12 of a teaspoon of honey in her entire lifetime CUCUMBER LIMEADE In a blender pulse 1 sliced cucumber and ¼ cup water to break it up, blend on high until liquefied. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve into a pitcher, pressing to extract juice. Discard solids. Add 6 cups water, 1 cup lime juice, and ½ cup of Champlain Valley Apiaries honey. Chill. Serve with lime and cucumber. -Recipe excerpt from Better Homes & Gardens, June 2019 HONEY SPICED TEA Combine 4 cups of freshed brewed tea, with ¼ cup of Champlain Valley Apiaries honey, 4 cinnamon sticks and 4 whole cloves in saucepan and simmer for 5 minutes. Let cool for several hours in the refrigerator. Add 8 Celestial Seasonings Red Zinger Tea Bags, cover with a lid and let steep for 10 min. Remove the tea bags, add ¼ cup of Champlain Valley Apiaries raw honey and stir until honey is dissolved. Add 4 cups of cold water & 1 cup orange juice.
